I love this! The colour is amazing but since it’s so bright I don’t think I’d be able to wear this on a regular basis. I wouldn’t mind a white one. I definitely prefer flowy dresses over body tight dresses.

Project 365 - Day #52

• O-week started for a lot of people today but mine starts tomorrow (how exciting!)
• Spent the whole day pretty much sewing! I hemmed this dress (look familiar Jock?) I love it! I very much like floral prints … to bad Summer is ending soon.
• I also sewed a bandage skirt out of some elastic material I bought a few weeks ago. My gosh, so after I had sewed the sides of the skirt tomorrow I tried it on just to see the length BUT I struggled to put the skirt on. But why? You ask. It’s a bandage skirt, it should stretch right? WELL, turns out the material was only stretchy in ONE DIRECTION and I had accidentally sewn it the wrong way … so the skirt stretched lengthways rather than widthways. :( After much deliberation and extensive creative thought, I decided to add some of the sretchy material to the waistband thus, allowing me to actually get the skirt on. Luckily, it worked out in the end. The skirt is still pretty tight though — tighter than what a bandage skirt should be.. ! But it should be okay. Would be awkward if I sat down and the skirt split or something :\

Project 365 - Day #49

The photo I originally planned to post turned out really bad so there’s this one instead. Got a new dress (that I really didn’t need) from ASOS. It was cheap though so the spend was slightly justified. And I promise to wear this dress instead of buying another one for a special occasion! I’m quite happy with the purchase; the dress is lovely. It’s a little figure hugging but luckily the material is stetchy so I can manage to sit down :D I love the velvet on the dress … it’s so nice to touch bahaha. *strokes* ;) 

Went into the city for lunch with Janet, Yong and Hilton. The plan was to go to Ajisen Ramen but apparently there was a line going out the door during the lunch time rush so we went to Meshiya outside QV. Yeah, their ramen is crap. Actually I don’t know if it was actually crap or maybe I just had high expectations because of Ajisen Ramen? Went to bank some money and also signed up for a Debit Mastercard. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE? Haha, this card will teach me self restraint. I think all will be okay and I won’t spend it all but I reckon once I actually do order my FIRST thing online using my own card … I won’t be able to stop ;P

Friday night and I’m chilling inside. I guess that’s a bad thing about working on Saturday; but I don’t normally do much on Friday nights anyway!! There is nothing to do these days … but eat.
